Our Tipis are made with modern materials and engineering which make them sturdy and adaptable. A single tipi has room for up to 50 people seated, or 100 standing, doubling by joining our second tipi and in good weather, the sides can be raised to further expand the space and let in natural light.
No party is complete without a sound system, and with our audio engineering backgrounds, we take this very seriously. Our in-house system consists of Martin Audio 15” mid-top speakers and 18” subs, powered by Full Fat Audio and QSC amplifiers for a total of just over 6 kilowatts and specially tuned to sound at its best in our tipi.
For those after extra sound and lighting options, we have the option to hire out extra sound reinforcement from our friends at ESL.
We cater to events of all types, from private parties to weddings and pop-up restaurants. Our tipis are both spacious and cosy, and come with fairy lighting, lounge furniture and the option of a pallet bar. Whatever the weather, we’ve got you covered.
We’ve been on the festival circuit for many many seasons between us, but since the inception of Mikata we’ve had the opportunity to be more involved than ever with making the fun happen. We’ve provided all sorts of tipi-related things for festivals of all sizes, ranging from simple structure hire to designing, building and programming our own areas from the ground up.
So whether it’s just shelter for your yoga workshops you require, a chill-out area, or a full-on rave dungeon with DJs and a chest-bursting rig provided, we can arrange it.
